Some breeders send us their horses with the view of us giving the horse a solid base so he can be sold and succeed in sport.  For these breeders we work with them to make a win-win situation for all involved, including the horse.

Other breeders send us their horses to determine if the horses have the potential to compete at the Grand Prix level in show jumping.  These breeders appreciate our honesty when we tell them the horse will be happier as an amateur horse at lower levels and the horse is then sold.  Those horses that show the potential and desire to compete at higher levels continue their development with us.

We take a holistic approach to training that involves teaching the horses to have impeccable ground manners, willing attitudes, enjoyment of their work and providing them with a solid base from which to develop into their full potential and lead happy and productive lives in the discipline that they are best suited for - Jumpers, Hunters, Dressage or Eventing.

Training a horse is not just riding.  The better the ground manners, the better their performance, the better the horses' understanding of what is expected of them and that helps horses lead happier lives.

We limit the number of horses under the Young Horse Development program which allows us to give each horse the attention they require.
